Rodeo time in Texas. Can't you just smell it. Word has it that a company in town had a big meeting of the "Big Boys." Owners, CEO's, general managers and so on. When this sort of thing happens, everybody wants to please "The Boss." Someone has to come up with an idea that will WOW not only the plebian workforce, but the upper echelon of the company food chain. Who are these people????
A genius event planner came up with the fabulous idea of having the whole group of "Big Boys" ride into the ballroom on horseback where the dinner to impress them was being held. This is how we start off the Rodeo each year. There is a ceremonial parade on horseback, they ride around the area waving and soaking up the applause on their beautifully groomed
horses.

The plan started to unravel when one of the Big Boys, who has a lifetime fear of horses, refused to saddle up. The rest of the Boys, being the good sports good ol' boys are in situations like this in spite of the total embarrassment and public humiliation of their boss, got on their horses and rode into the dimly lit ballroom. Seems like someone thought it would be a good idea to dim the lights so the horses wouldn't spook. Apparently horses do spook in low light and being horses, they do what horses do. There was some shoveling to do before the first course........
Now, who thought this would be a brilliant idea? And who signed off on this idea? Who figured out how to get the horses to the event and allowed them to go inside?
This is not a single person's doing. There was a whole team of geniuses working together
on this.
