IN TOTAL AGREEMENT

A squad of the 101st Airborne were driving up the highway between Basra and Baghdad when they came upon an Iraqi soldier badly injured and unconscious.

Nearby, on the opposite side of the road, was a fellow American paratrooper in a similar but less serious state and the trooper was conscious and alert.

As first aid was given to both men, the trooper was asked what had happened and he replied: "I was heavily armed and moving north on foot along the highway. Coming south was a heavily armed Iraqi soldier."

"What happened then?" the medic asked.

"I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein was a miserable piece of shit, and he yelled back that George Bush was a miserable piece of shit. We were standing there shaking hands when out of nowhere a truck hit us both!"
